Edition #2 - 29 March 2008 Still really proud about this edition. Talking about an international and daring line-up:
People not knowing the bands, might be impressed if you tell them that we organized a fest with three domestic bands (B), one German outfit, one from Holland, one from the UK and two from the USA. All of this on a substantial base. Furthermore one remark about this line-up: 'ODK Crew' had to cancel and was replaced by 'Black Haven'. The image you are seeing above is the original flyer as printed and spread out - thnx again to Phile 4 the artwork. It was impossible for us to change this layout as everything was already printed, so our apologies for this. Strangely enough I never found any reviews on the internet. So you'll have to do it with the pictures... One footnote about the show from Integrity. At the time it had been more or less three years since they played a show. We had them flewn over and this also allowed them to record their new full length here in Belgium with all band members. The show from '25 Ta Life' was the first of their european tour of 2008. Both 'Knuckledust' and 'Backfire' had fresh releases on GSR records and did their CD presentation for Belgium on the NorthSeaHardcore fest. No more than 400 kids attended this event...but if you weren't there, you were at the wrong place. Piece by piece quality bands. We charged 20 € entrance fee so we can imagine that the price scared a lot of kids to come and join this event. Needless to say the amount of expenses forced us to ask this amount. We also had the impression that the audience of this edition was a lot older than the first edition. Though this was good thing (we also are not getting any younger), we also had more problems/issues: one of the bands on tour finds their van with flat tyres after the show, equipment got stolen (guitar amp!) from stage, and lots of trouble with drunk people - and I don't mean practical jokes. To the people behind this shit: GET A LIFE YOU BASTARDS! We and the bands put way too much time and energy in this but rest assured, everybody gets what (s)he deserves in his life. You'll get treated like you treat... Despite all problems we are determined to continue. No regrets here. Slideshows on this page were based on pictures shot by Miguel De Paula.
